Tell us you've found a dog
You should call:
- our customer services team on 01795 417850 between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Thursdays or between 9am and 1pm Fridays
- The out of hours service on 07795 237479 weekdays between 5pm and 9pm or between 9am and 9pm weekends
Collection times
Stray dogs can only be collected at certain times between:
- 9am and 4pm Monday to Thursday
- 9am and 12pm Fridays
- 9am and 12pm weekends
If you find a dog outside of these times, you may need to contact a local vet who can scan the dog for a chip. We do not have any emergency holding facilities.
There is no stray dog service on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Easter Sunday or Bank Holidays.
If you call outside of the hours listed above, an officer will contact you the next working day to organise collection.
