Moving home

Use this service if you're subscribed to our garden waste collection service and you’re:

  • moving out of Swale
  • moving home but you’re still going to live in Swale

Moving out of Swale

If you’re moving out of Swale, you will need to cancel your garden waste subscription. If you still have some remaining months on your subscription, we won’t be able to provide a refund.

Cancelling a subscription

To cancel a garden waste subscription, you will need to call our Customer Service team on 01795 417888. You will need your address, including your postcode.

Once you’ve told us you’re moving, we will cancel your garden waste subscription. We don't provide refunds for any remain subscription period.

Moving within Swale

If you’re moving home but you’re still going to live in Swale, you’ll need to tell us so we can continue to collect your garden waste.

If you've already got a brown bin, you should take it with you when you move.

Tell us you’re moving

To tell us you’re moving, you’ll need to contact our Customer Service team online. You’ll need your new address, including postcode.

Once you’ve told us you’re moving, we’ll update our records and continue to collect your garden waste from your new address.
