Seizing a vehicle

You can check online to find out if a vehicle's been seized including the reason for its seizure.

Claiming a vehicle back

To claim a vehicle back, you'll need proof of ownership and identification. This can include:

Charges

Once you've claimed your vehicle, you'll receive an invoice within 28 days which includes charges for storage of the vehicle, charged daily following seizure, as well as a charge for the seizure itself. You'll need to pay this invoice once you've claimed your vehicle.

What you'll receive

When we seize a vehicle, you'll receive a Vehicle Seizure Information Notice which will include details of the vehicle together with the reason it was seized and what you can do to reclaim it.
