Faversham
Faversham Town Council made an application to Swale Borough Council to designate a neighbourhood area in Spring 2020. This is an area within which a neighbourhood plan can be prepared. Neighbourhood plans give communities power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood and shape the development and growth of their local area.
Notice is hereby given that the application made by Faversham Town Council to designate the Town of Faversham as a neighbourhood area is approved and the designation is confirmed. The neighbourhood area is to be known as the Faversham Town Neighbourhood Area, a map of which can be found here (PDF 2.6MB).
When the Faversham Town Neighbourhood Plan is made part of the development plan, it will replace Faversham Creek Neighbourhood Plan in its entirety.
