Blue Badge Scheme

Kent County Council is responsible for the administration of blue badges in Kent. The scheme makes provisions for disabled people to park.

To apply for a Blue Badge or if you have any questions regarding the Blue Badge Scheme go to the KCC website.

Blue badge holders may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) if observed:

Disabled person's disabled bay

If you are a disabled driver with a valid blue badge and you need to park as close to your property as possible, you may be able to apply for a disabled bay to be marked on the road.

You will need to meet specific criteria to be successful in your application. It should be noted that the applicant will not have exclusive rights to the bay and any vehicle displaying a valid blue badge may also park in the bay.
