Cemetery Locations

We manage the following cemeteries in the borough: 

We hope to open Iwade Cemetery, Sittingbourne ME9 8FP soon.

Murston Cemetery does not offer any new graves, only the re-opening of existing graves. A section of this site belongs to All Saint's Church.

The remaining cemeteries offer a full grave space in either a lawn or a kerb plot. For cremated remains, upright or flat memorial plots are available.

Reporting a death

When someone dies, you will need to report the death. The Tell Us Once service at Kent County Council, makes this process easier. When you register a death, this service will be explained to you.
