All car parks are enforced daily.
Short Stay car parks have a maximum waiting time of 4 hours.
Season Tickets are available for long stay car parks. Please call Customer Services on 01795 417385 to make an application.
If a machine is out of service, please use an alternative machine (where available within the car park). Where a pay and display machine is not available payment must be made using cashless parking provided by RingGo by calling 01622 260190 or using their app. Please note that you may not park without payment of the parking charge.
Swale Borough Council will be offering cashless parking from its new supplier, RingGo, from Saturday 9 September 2017.

These three text services are charged at 20p each.
You can change your options at any time by phone, by using the RingGo website or by using the Android or iPhone app.
Go to my account and update your options by changing your preferences using the sliders on the right hand side of the screen.

Call 01795 570300. Listen to the options available and choose option 1 to opt in or option 2 to opt out when prompted.
Visit the RingGo website and click ‘Opt in/out of receiving text messages’. You will be asked to enter your login details to verify your account.
Updating your options using the RingGo website provides an additional option to permanently update your text message preferences in one place. The preferences you choose on the RingGo website will then be automatically updated across your account including the mobile app.
Civil Enforcement Officers receive live payment information for more accurate enforcement; however, pay units will remain in place for customers unable to use RingGo.

Coaches may drop off passengers at Lesley Smith drive, adjacent to Central Car Park, in Faversham.
Long stay coach parking is available at Macknade Fine Foods in Selling Road and at Central car park with an additional 2x designated bays.
There are no facilities for parking caravans / motorhomes / campervans in any of our car parks or on-street parking bays.
Sleeping in a vehicle overnight is not allowed. Visit the Camping and Caravanning club UK website to find a nearby campsite.
Disabled Blue Badge holders can park in any disabled bay, or should there be none available, any of the other bays free of charge for up to 8 hours. A valid blue badge must be clearly displayed at all times.
A total of 12 motorcycle bays are available in Swale. Parking is free of charge for up to four hours. Excess motorcycles may also park in an ordinary bay but will have to pay and display a valid ticket.
Free electric car charging points are now available at The Swallows and Swale House car parks, though you must buy a parking ticket covering the duration of the stay.
Additional services such as text reminders are an opt in or opt out service. Optional services on the phone or app include additional charges. These charges are 20p each for the following:
· To receive a confirmation text to state when your parking session began.
· An expiry text which will occur approximately 10 minutes before your parking session is due to end.
· To extend your parking session. Your additional time will need to be purchased before you parking session ends.
