Find out how to save energy, and money

Want to cut your business’ energy bills?

Swale Borough Council is hosting a free Carbon Trust workshop at the Holiday Inn, Sittingbourne, on 4 October which could help you do just that.

The session will introduce the Carbon Trust’s Green Business Fund, which provides procurement advice and capital grants of up to £5,000 to help SMEs buy energy-saving equipment.

Cllr Mike Cosgrove, cabinet member for regeneration at the council, said:

"Energy costs can make up a significant part of a business’ overheads, and the cost of investing in improvements can seem prohibitive.

"Thankfully there are schemes out there that can help with grants and advice to help get these costs down.

"Even if you’re not considering investing in equipment, the workshop can still help your business with advice to help you reduce energy usage, cut your bills and reduce your carbon footprint."
