PPG17 Open Space Assessment Consultation
The Council has published for consultation a Planning Policy Guidance (PPG) 17 Open Space Assessment.

As part of the preparation of the Local Development Framework the Council requires an 'Open Space Audit and Assessment' (which will be PPG17 compliant) to be undertaken to provide the necessary evidence base for the preparation of future local development documents. The document and appendices assess existing open space within Swale for its quality, its quantity and its accessibility. It then sets local standards for future open space provision across the Borough, taking into account the local identified need. |
