Pollution

The Environmental Protection Team within the Environmental Services Department deal with a wide range of issues relating to pollution and potential pollution of the environment including air quality, noise and contaminated land.

 

Noise

Find out about Noise pollution issues and what can be done about it.
 

Air Quality Monitoring

We undertake air quality monitoring as part of our commitment to identify monitor and minimise pollution.
 

Contaminated Land

Potentially contaminated sites that may affect drinking water, homes, horticulture and agriculture.
 

Pollution Prevention Control

Under the Pollution, Prevention and Control Act 1999, operators which generate pollutants need to obtain an operating permit.
 

Environmental Protection Team

We deal with environmental issues relating to Contaminated Land, Air Quality, Industrial Pollution Control and Statutory Nuisance.
