Changes to the Planning Service

Please note, due to a high workload within Planning Services, temporary changes are now in place...

The target for response times for pre application enquiries will be extended from 10 working days to 25 working days and that the practice of providing a full letter following a pre application meeting will be replaced with a brief and succinct note of all the valid points made at the meeting.

It should also be noted that for a temporary period you may also experience minor delays in Development Management staff responding to enquires and planning application enquiries.

We apologise for any inconvenience that these delays may cause you and assure you that they are temporary and that additional resources are being sought to enable the Development Management service to restore the level of service that you the customer have come to expect from Planning Services at Swale.

Long term changes

We will be undergoing significant changes from June 2014. View our Latest Planning News page for more information.
