Peer Review
From time to time the council is subject to external challenge by others either within the local government sector or from the public sector more widely. This provides an objective assessment of the quality of our overall governance systems and how well we serve the residents of our borough, and also helps us to identify and action further areas for improvement.
Swale’s most recent inspection was a ‘peer challenge’ facilitated by the Local Government Association (LGA) in 2023.
