Parks and Open Spaces
We are responsible for 309ha of major urban and country parks including 53 play areas throughout the Borough. The parks vary in character from formal gardens and traditional urban parks to less formal beautiful natural open spaces such as The Glen at Minster. Many of the parks also have sport pitches and pavilions that can be hired from the Council for sports, tournaments and other events.
