Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)

Swale Landscape Character and Biodiversity Appraisal Supplementary Planning Document is now a material planning consideration in the determination of planning applications across the borough of Swale. It provides detail on what the Council will expect from development proposals on matters of landscape character and biodiversity opportunities.

 The SPD was adopted on 30 September 2011. 

 Copies of the Adoption Statement and the Consultation Statement are now available.

 The Supplementary Planning Document is shown below. The document, which contains a number of maps, has been split into pdf  files for ease of downloading. If you have difficulty viewing these files, a copy of the document is available on CD.
