Electoral register updates online

Residents who provided their email address when registering to vote, or completing other electoral forms, will be receiving an email this week asking them to confirm their details are correct.

The email is being sent to householders to help the council keep the electoral register up-to-date by using a secure online system.

You will only be asked to provide the secure codes provided to the named recipient of the email. It does not ask for other sensitive information such as bank, passport, or driving licence details, and you should always be wary of sites asking for this information.

Those who haven't provided an email address, and those who don't reply to the email, will be contacted by post in the usual way later in the year.
