Regulators are required to have an enforcement policy based on certain principles described in The Regulators Compliance Code (2007) and the Governments Enforcement Concordat.
This policy complies with these principles and aims to promote consistency of approach and fairness to all.
The policy updates the Housing and Environmental Services policy that was formed in 2002.
