More markets coming to Sittingbourne

A new range of specialist and themed markets will be coming to Sittingbourne town centre from August.

The themed markets will complement the existing monthly artisan market which currently runs on the second Saturday of the month from March to December.

Cllr Mike Cosgrove, cabinet member for regeneration at the council, said:

The new markets will be held on the fourth Saturday of each month from August to December, and run from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm at the top of the High Street.
