Helping ease the hassle of Christmas

This December, we’re making it easier for you to reach Swale’s high streets.

Building on feedback from last year’s trial, our new scheme is tailored to each town centre, helping more people get to the shops – so you can get your Christmas shopping sorted.

Parking vouchers will be available in the winter issue of Inside Swale, online, at council offices and in local shops.

Cllr Alan Horton, cabinet member for safer families and communities, said:

"We want to make Christmas easier for residents by cutting the hassle and cost of parking on busy shopping days.

"By tailoring the scheme to each town’s needs, we hope many more people will be able to take advantage of the fantastic shopping opportunities our high streets have to offer."

Keep an eye on the website for updates with more details of the scheme.
