Access issues for waste and recycling collections

Due to new bollards and parked cars at the turning into Cheyne Road, Eastchurch, there may be issues accessing this road, Bramley Way and Bramley Close for their usual collection on Wednesdays.

The 26 tonne freighter will try to get access as usual if it can, but if it is unable to, a narrow access vehicle (15 tonnes) will return on Friday.

We are working with Kent Highways to have the double yellow lines moved to allow larger vehicles, including emergency services vehicles, to enter the road. This is subject to the usual process and will be done in consultation with local residents.

We apologise for any inconvenience to anyone affected on these roads, and ask for understanding as we work to find a solution.
