European Parliamentary Election Result
The results for the South East UK Region (10 seats available) are:

Of those registered to vote, the turnout for the South East Region was 37.47%. The turnout for the Swale Borough was 33.35%.

European Parliamentary Elections take place every five years. For the European elections the whole country is split into 12 regions. Our region, the South East, will be electing 10 Members of the European Parliament. The European Parliament is responsible for a range of areas from animal rights and the environment to consumer rights and regional economic development.
The European Election were held in all member states between 4 - 7 June 2009.
