A consensus among local residents, landowners, the Faversham Creek Consortium and developers at Faversham Creek is the aim of the plan.
Swale's Staying Put service has scored an A grade in all the 14 categories of the Home Improvement Agency's Quality Mark.
Local election voting occurred on 1 May 2008 with the votes counted through the night at the Swale Leisure Centre in Sittingbourne. The results are now in. The Conservatives hold 57% of local seats, Labour 19%, Lib Dems 11% and Independents 13%. 33.2% of Swales electorate voted.
Kent Police working alongside Swale Borough Council and other partner agencies has seized and removed 36 untaxed vehicles from the streets of Swale during a week long operation.
